angli-EAR Win at the SME Business Awards
A congratulations is in order, angli-EAR Hearing took home the award for ‘Website of the Year’ at the SME Business Awards!
angli-EAR Hearing has grown phenomenally over the past few years. Two years ago they moved to a new clinic in Woollard’s Lane in Great Shelford and since then have grown from a team of 4 to a team of 12. The Growth Works grant helped generate 5 of those roles. This includes audiologists, clinical support staff, and administration and Reception staff.
We took the time to catch up with angli- EAR and ask them how it felt to add another award to their shelf.

How did it feel to win ‘Website of the Year’?
“We are absolutely delighted to win the “Website of the Year” award at the SME Business Awards this year.
Our website is our online customer service tool, showcasing our experience of hearing healthcare for all the family. Swift help is available 24/7 via our online advice pages, FAQs, quick online diagnostic tool and handy booking system. The award is a seal of approval for our customer experience online.”
How did Growth Works help towards your Website?
“The Growth Works grants was integral towards the design, development and build of the website. Our website is our online shop window; it conveys our strong customer service credentials and provides a wealth of hearing information. The grant from Growth Works has also given us a springboard from which to launch our new services: paediatrics, cochlear implants and, very soon, balance and vestibular. These are in addition to our existing ear wax removal, hearing assessments and hearing devices, and tinnitus solutions services.
The website has given us an even stronger market presence and better online search engine optimisation to increase our customer reach. We are very grateful of the support that we have had from Growth Works to further develop our digital strategy.
We have also used the Growth Works grant to invest in state-of-the art Balance and Vestibular assessment equipment. We are very excited about this new service, launching later this year to help clients affected by balance disorders, through comprehensive diagnostic assessment and therapies. This sets us at a very competitive advantage to other local audiology clinics and will bring in clients from an even wider geographical area to utilise such a specialist audiology service.”
