Chris has held various operational senior leadership and line management roles in Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, Product Development, Engineering and Supply Chain with over 30 years experience in advanced manufacturing sectors.

Chris was Director of Manufacturing (EAME) for Caterpillar Inc. and led the transformation of the order to delivery space for a number of years before becoming CEO of SMMT Industry Forum providing consultancy and training to the Automotive industry and other advanced manufacturing sectors.

Chris’s key areas of interest are strategic business planning, competitive strategy, business operating models, strategic plan deployment, business performance measurement & management and driving cultural change for strategy execution. He holds a Masters Degree from the University of Cambridge in Manufacturing Business
