Get Ready to Grow in 2023
We have fantastic workshops happening in January that can kickstart your growth for 2023.
We are running a marketing masterclass ‘Building a Growth Marketing Strategy’ on 27 January, where Growth Coaching Senior Marketing Advisor, Liz Ratcliffe, will take you through understanding what a marketing strategy is, and how to identify your prime customers. Understanding your USP and customer buying journey will prepare you to create your growth marketing plan.

Tackling your business challenges head-on
Why not start the year as you intend to go on, by recognising some of the critical challenges your business is facing and putting actions in place to deal with them? In our discussions with our clients, two of the common challenges they identify is the lack of understanding of how to protect their IP or how to enable their business digitally so as not to be left behind by the competition.
Growth Works is here to help with any challenges you are facing as a business. You might want to ‘go digital’ or you might need help with devising a marketing strategy; perhaps you need the use of a lawyer or accountant. As a client of Growth Works, you can discuss your issues with one of our business advisors. Often they will be able to help you with answers, suggest sources of strategic learning, or they can connect you with one of the many partner organisations we work with who are specialists in different business fields. Even better, if you require the help of one of these specialist businesses, you may be able to obtain funding for up to 50% of their costs with a Growth Works revenue grant! For revenue expenditure of any kind, a maximum of £20,000 is available. Capex grants are highly competitive and start at a minimum of £20,000k up to a possible £150,000, whilst funds last. In this workshop, we will explore what makes a great value proposition and how that value may appear differently for different customers – particularly when selling B2B. Investing in your value proposition is a little like digging the best foundations for your house as it is upon this that you build many other elements of your business.
Apprenticeships can be an effective solution for businesses of different shapes and sizes, sectors and strategies. SMEs have access to 95% funding when placing apprentices – available to your existing staff, not just new recruits. It is a great way to reduce recruitment fees whilst also improving team development and morale in the workplace.
