As we exit the month of March – how are your growth plans for your business shaping up? If you have not yet joined Growth Works then you are missing out on all the free support on offer to help your business grow and ensure its sustainability in the future.

In this newsletter, we provide a review of some of the fabulous events our team attended during the last few weeks and where you may have met them. There are more Masterclasses being added to our programme all the time – do you need some training to help you with building the resilience of your supply chain? If you do – there is a masterclass for you! We have an update on our grants programme – it is not going to run forever and once the grant pot is gone – it’s gone – so if you have not taken out an application yet – you need to take action now. Why not benefit from grants like hundreds of other local businesses across our region? 

Finally, for those of you who could not make our Inspire and Network event and missed out on hearing our inspirational speakers, we have included case studies from each of their businesses so you can read how they have all benefited from being Growth Works' clients.

Growth Works supports the region’s SMEs to scale and create new jobs for the region’s economy. Despite current challenging market conditions, many businesses are investing to sustain or accelerate their business, and grants of 50% towards your investment are available.

The current grants available from Growth Works are as follows:

Revenue Grant Programme

Type 1 – (Revenue Only): Applicants may apply for project funding where the project total is ≤£40,000 of which ≤£20,000 could be considered for a Growth Works Grant. The minimum Grant size is £4,000.

Type 2 – (Revenue + Capex (capital) blend): Applicants may apply for project funding where the project total is ≤ £40,000 of which ≤ £20,000 could be considered for a Growth Works Grant. Applicants can apply for a blended grant of approximately 70% Revenue and 30% CapEx. The minimum Grant Size is £6,000.

Capex Grant Programme

Funding for Capital projects is still available but the pot is rapidly diminishing. If you would like to know more about Capex please speak to a team member later.

It’s been a busy few weeks for our team, as they have been out and about, attending and running events to bring our services to businesses across the region. We held our first Inspire and Network event last week in Huntingdon and were delighted to host our event for over 110 local businesses. The feedback from those who attended has been great, so we are already planning our next event for late spring/early summer.
